Sexual assault is a deeply troubling and pervasive issue that affects individuals across diverse communities. However, the experiences and consequences of sexual violence are not uniform and are often shaped by intersecting factors such as race, caste, class, and ethnicity. This webinar aims to delve into the intricate dynamics at the intersection of these identities and their profound impact on survivors of sexual assault.

A Dalit theologian who engages in contextual readings of the Bible, including postcolonial, Dalit feminist, anti-caste, and Womanist/Feminist interpretations.

Dr. Brittney Cooper
Author, professor, and activist, known for her work on Black feminism, racial justice, and gender studies. She has written extensively on issues of race, gender, and society in books like "Eloquent Rage: A Black Feminist Discovers Her Superpower."

Ms. Emma Eagle Heart-White
An Oglála Lakȟóta, a sexual assault survivor, advocate, and psychotherapist. She is the co-author, with her sister Sarah Eagle Heart, of "Warrior Princesses Strike Back: How Lakota Twins Fight Oppression and Heal Through Connectedness."
