Tom Margrave+ and his Director of Music, Dr. Jonathan Hall, will lead aspiring Worship Leaders in integrating music in the public worship of the Daily Office (Morning and Evening Prayer in particular). Church musicians are invited to be a part of this training opportunity.

This curriculum has been approved by The Episcopal Diocese of New York (Approval for Lectors and Lay Eucharistic Ministers/Chalice Bearers is at the discretion of the clergy in charge of a Parish.  You must have the permission of your priest to seek licensing (signature of a priest is required on the registration form).  Those whose parishes do not have a “resident”  priest (i.e. congregations that are in vacancy/search/self-study/interim process, etc.)  may not be eligible for licensing, and thus we do not encourage you to pursue this ministry until your congregation has a priest.  Under special circumstances, provisional licenses for a period of one year are sometimes given – this is, however an exception and not the norm.

Please note that if you register and pay on line, you still need to print out the registration and have it signed by your priest. Instructions for those who do not have a "resident" priest are above.
