  • “Sunday School” every Sunday at 9:00AM for children of both congregations
  • The Holy Eucharist is celebrated in English every Sunday at 9:30AM
  • The Holy Eucharist is celebrated at 3:00 PM on Sundays.
  • Bible Study and Catechism in English are at 10:00 A.M every Saturday.
  • Bible Study and Catechism in Spanish are at 5:00 P.M every Sunday.
  • Every fourth week we visit and celebrate services at Senior Residence at 6PM
  • Bible Study once a month for adults who already have been confirmed.
  • Visits to hospital and the shut-ins
  • Food Pantry every Tuesday
  • Shepherd Kitchen Saturdays and Sundays
  • Sacraments offered:  Baptism, Celebration of the Communion, Confirmation, Weddings, and Ministration to the Sick.
  • Memorial Services, Anniversary Services, and Birthday Services are performed on request.
  • Social Services include translations, aid with doctor’s appointments as well as other community services and “ESL” (Tuesday and Friday nights from 6:00PM to 8:00PM).

The church is located just off Broadway in Kingston behind Eckerd’s Pharmacy.  Turn onto Pine Grove Avenue from Broadway at Eckerd’s and you will see the church on the left.

The Holy Eucharist is celebrated at 6:00 PM on Sundays.
Bible Study and Catechism are at 4:30 PM every Sunday.
Youth Group meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

Sacraments include:  Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, Weddings, and Ministration to the Sick.

In the last 5 years a lot of Hispanic people, the majority from Oaxaca and Puebla, Mexico, have come to the area.  There are also people from Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, The Dominican Republic, El Salvador, and Honduras.  

Every year for the festival of the Virgen de Guadalupe we have celebrations for 9 days before the 12th of December.  There are gatherings in private homes with reflections and Bible Study.  On the 12th of December there are more than 500 people at the church with Mariachis and typical Mexican foods.  “Las Mañanitas” are at 5:00 AM.

Memorial Services, 3rd year and 15th year Birthday Services, and Anniversary Services are performed on request.

Social Services include:
  • Provide help for new people in the area.
  • Contact family members abroad for necessary documentation.
  • Help to find jobs, housing, furniture, appliances, etc.
  • Accompany people to the doctor, hospital, court, etc.
  • Help with all documentation necessary for the doctor, hospital, court, etc.
  • Hospital visits.
  • Help families to register in public assistance programs (WIC, unemployment, etc.)
  • Help with translations (oral and written).
  • Help people to get professional licenses for their jobs.
  • Help to acquire driver’s licenses, license plates, auto registrations, etc.
  • Relating the needs of the people to agencies and different program leaders in the area.
  • English classes
  • Enrolling children in school
  • Assistance in studies for the driving tests and for citizenship.
  • Helping to create family budgets, open bank accounts, and get legal or medical assistance.
  • Working with families to help them to adjust to the new culture.

Del Oeste: (1) Pasa por el puente Mid-Hudson (La ruta 44-55 East).  (2) Dobla a la derecha en Academy Street en el cuarto semáforo. (3) Pasa el semáforo al cruce de Montgomery Y Academy.  La iglesia Christ Church es a la izquierda.

Del Nord: Coge la ruta 9 South hasta la ruta 44-55 East. Continua con número (2) arriba.

Del Sur: Coge la ruta 9 North hasta la ruta 44-55 East.  Continua con número (2) arriba.

Del Este: Coge la ruta 44-55 West hasta la cruce de la ruta 44-55 East.  Dobla a la izquierda en la ruta 44-55 East.  Dobla a la derecha en Academy Street (el segundo semáforo).  Continua con número (3) arriba.

Celebramos la Santa Eucaristía a la 1:00 PM todos los Domingos.
Catequesis y estudio de la Biblia a las 11:30 AM cada Domingo.
Reunión de Jóvenes el segundo y cuarto Domingo del mes a las 2:00 PM.

Administramos los Sacramentos de: Baptismo, Primer Comunión, Confirmación, Matrimonio y Unción de los Enfermos.

En los últimos 5 años han llegado muchísimos hispanos. La mayoria son mexicanos que vienen de Oaxaca y Puebla, pero tenemos en la Iglesia gente de Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, La Republica Dominicana, El Salvador y Honduras.  Comprobamos el aumento de la población hispana con la asistencia a la Misa Dominical.
Año 2000 asistencia 4034.
Año 2001 asistencia 6475.
Año 2002 asistencia 7037.
Año 2003 asistencia 8355.
El año 2003 El Obispo recibió 54 personas y confirmó a 25.

Cada año a la Fiesta Patronal Virgen de Guadalupe, tenemos un novenario (9 días antes del 12 de Diciembre) y son asambleas familiares, en las casas con reflexión Bíblica.  El 12 de Diciembre asisten más de 500 personas y tenemos Mariachis y comida tipica de Mexico.  Las Mañanitas son a las 5:00 AM.

Hacemos Servicios Memoriales, Cumpleaños de 3 y 15 años, y Aniversarios cuando están solicitados.

Los Servicios Sociales son:
  • Apoyo a la gente nueva del área
  • Ponerse en contacto con familia del extranjero para documentación necesaria.
  • Ayudando a encontrar trabajo.  Casa, muebles, electrodomésticos, etc.
  • Acompañando a la gente al médico, al hospital, a la corte, etc.
  • Ayudando con toda la documentación necesaria para el médico, el hospital, la corte, etc.
  • Visitas hospitalarias.
  • Ayudando a las familias a registrarse para los programas de asistencia (WIC, Unemployment, etc.)
  • Apoyo en trabajos de traducción (oral y escrito)
  • Ayudar a conseguir licencias profesionales del trabajo.
  • Ayudando a conseguir patente, placas, registración del automóvil, etc.
  • Relatar las necesidades de la gente a las agencias y líderes de programas en el área.
  • Clases de inglés.
  • Registrando los niños en la escuela.
  • Ayudando en los estudios para la patente y ciudadanía.
  • Ayudando a aprender como pagar cuentas, hacer cuentas bancárias, conseguir ayuda médica o legal, etc.
  • Colaborando con familias para ayudarlas a asimilar la cultura nueva.
