The Diocesan Communications Office is responsible for this website, for the diocesan listings email, Online News, for the diocesan Facebook page, and for the diocesan newspaper, the Episcopal New Yorker. It also prepares or helps with the preparation and distribution of press releases and other information materials both at the diocesan and the parish levels, as well as providing help, advice and support to parishes and priests throughout the diocese, wherever their work and activities might benefit from being better known to the public at large. New Diocesan Web Hosting

The Diocese offers free web hosting to all parishes acting as a 'reseller' for a modern, reliable hosting company. For more information on this, please visit www.ednyhosting.org.

For smaller sites we strongly recommend using Wordpress as a tool, both to build the site and to administer it. Instructions for getting started with Diocesan hosting and setting up a simple Wordpress site using it are available here.
