Juilliard Students to Perform at St. James
Three outstanding organists from The Juilliard School, Pre-College Division, will play a recital here on the Klais organ. Reilly Xu, Bruce Xu and Alexander Leonardi will perform works by Sweelinck, Bach, Widor, Langlais and Duruflé. Last season we hosted these students and it was wonderful! Two of our performers, from the organ studio of Dr. Lewis, recently won the Albert Schweitzer Organ Competition. Eddie Zheng (now a freshman at Juilliard – he played here last February) won first place, and Bruce Xu won second. Don’t miss hearing these young artists! Saturday, November 17 at 7 pm.
