The Rt. Rev. Andrew M.L. Dietsche, presiding and preaching.
Clergy ~ white stoles.
The Rt. Rev. Catherine S. Roskam, retired Bishop Suffragan of New York, will return to our diocese for the interment of her husband’s ashes in their final resting place, the Columbarium of the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine. The burial liturgy, beginning at 11:00 a.m., will include remembrances, glorious music, and the expected presence of many, in a profoundly moving commendation of our beloved brother Dr. Philip K. Roskam to God.

Clergy and Clergy Spouses Invited to Process
In recognition of the bonds of affection which Phil had with the spouses of clergy in the diocese, Bp. Cathy wishes to invite, in addition to clergy, all spouses and especially members of SPICE to process and sit together. Phil was an active member of SPICE who will be remembered for his gentleness and kindness, and his disarming wit and humor. A procession of clergy spouses will create a powerful sign of their association, in Christ, in which Phil continues among the saints in light.
For the procession and seating of clergy and spouses to happen well, in both Chancel and Choir, the Cathedral’s staff will be grateful to know if you plan to participate. We respectfully request all clergy, including past and present bishops and canons, and all spouses who plan to process, to register by completing the form below before the end of the day on Thursday. Then, please plan to arrive at the Cathedral by 10:15 a.m. on Saturday.
